When I was young, all I knew for sure was that I wanted to be a mom. Being creative and quirky I dabbled in music and writing, loving all kinds of art and self expression. When I quit my retail career after having my first baby I was looking for a new way to incorporate all these interests. Like many young moms I was constantly taking pictures of my kids, wanting desperately not to forget anything. As my skills began to develop, so did my love for the art. I spent time learning and educating myself in between teaching preschool, raising my amazing kids, and being that house on the block all the neighborhood kids were at when there was a day off of school. Eventually friends and family started asking me to take pictures for them and my little business began.
When my 3rd child was born, she changed my world. I had to learn about tiny baby hearts, chromosome anomalies, how to keep on moving without sleeping at all, and how to appreciate Every. Single. Breath. on a whole different level.
Everything went deeper. My love, my pain, my art.
Preserving every moment meant so much more. The good, the bad AND the ugly. It's all SO IMMESURABLY important.
Watching each of my kids grow, and witnessing how uniquely they each expressed parts of themselves, and had their own ways of being human on this planet through all the chaos and discovery I have developed passionate love for the way we each BECOME. It's all so beautiful.
My name means (contrary to popular belief) "celebration". It is my burning desire that every human knows the joy of being celebrated, just simply for being who they are.

Yes, though I do not print in house, I am partnered with a professional photographers print shop that can do it all! Every gallery has a print option built in so it’s as easy as pie.
Absolutely! Though I wish I could figure out how to support my family without adding to our capitalist society I’m not completely there yet. However, I KNOW that we have so much more to offer one another than money. Don’t be shy of offering up a barter!
